Tower Windmill Model Kit

This mechanical wooden model kit combines craft and English history. Its design is based on an actual 17th-century cylindrical stone tower windmill, the Chesterton Windmill which was built outside Chesterton, in Warwickshire county, England. The unique construction of the actual windmill, with an arched base, is presumed to have been built by a prominent figure of the period, Sir Edward Peyto that owned Chesterton Manor at that time. This wooden model and its pieces replicate the original windmill’s form, with some ‘steam-punk’ styling added to the mix. This kit comes in a box in 585 separate components, which are estimated to take between 12-15 hours to assemble. No glue or additional tools required, just your time and patience. Instructions are included.
